The Elevate Girls Initiative is committed to empowering girls globally for a brighter future by:

  1. Advancing education, and

  2. Removing barriers to girls education

Advancing Girls Education

Our first girls’ education project begins in Kenya, in a country called Kwale where 7 out of 10 residents live below the poverty line of USD1.25 a day. I am sure you are wondering, what does this mean for the girls?

Girls in Kwale are significantly disadvantaged, entrenched in a cycle of poverty , subject to daily discrimination and violence..

Removing Barriers to Girls Education

Periods shouldn’t prevent girls from having the same opportunities as boys, but the reality is: They do! When girls don’t have access to sanitary products, they miss out on school and other opportunities. Let’s give girls comfort and dignity so they can keep learning and advancing with confidence.
